Our fishing is 100% renewable. This epipelagic fish, which swims in schools
in the open ocean, is commonly 45 cm (18 in) long, though it can grow up
to 70 cm (28 in). Since Chile began its fishery in 1950, the majority of the
global catch has been taken by Chilean vessels, predominantly within its
EEZ. We maintain sustainable production and are constantly innovating to
adhere to higher international environmental standards.
